Workshop Details

Angular is traditionally focused on client-side work but learning to delegate work to a server has many benefits. The best way to learn is to do, so we're going to build out a functional site that will help us hone our serverless architecture skills using Angular & Angular Universal (Angular's SSR tech). In the process, we'll touch on why this approach is beneficial to project cost, development time, and developer experience.

Is This Workshop for Me?

Summary

The workshop will focus on the coding of serverless functions and the supporting technology but will not touch on the project scaffolding, design, or UI (those will be coded ahead of time) so if that's what you're looking to learn there are really great FEM workshops that can teach you that, just not this one.

Any Prerequisites?

  • An intermediate knowledge of Angular & JavaScript will be beneficial
  • (optional) An appreciation or resilience for bad jokes, puns, and spontaneous song lyrics
