Build a fullstack Laravel app with React & Inertia.js. Learn Laravel fundamentals like routing, data loading, business logic, auth, background jobs, and more. By the end, you’ll have shipped a real internal app to production and have a mental model of how Laravel makes full-stack development faster, simpler, and a lot less repetitive.
What You Will Master
- Understand the request lifecycle, how routes, controllers, and models fit together, and why Laravel replaces so much of the glue code you’d otherwise write yourself.
- Load and pass data to your React components, protect routes with middleware, enforce permissions with policies, and let Laravel own the rules so your frontend doesn’t have to.
- Build and ship production-ready features — from forms and validation to background jobs and email, you’ll use Laravel’s built-in tools to handle the hard parts of a real app and deploy it with Laravel Cloud.
Prerequisites
- Experience building single page applications with a Vanilla JS or a framework like React
- Familiar with how HTTP requests work — methods, responses, and basic REST concepts
- Some experience with a database (understand tables, rows, and relationships)
