Events and callbacks may be bound to prefixed events or as options within the jQuery UI. The following sections demonstrate each of the components available in jQuery UI in a real-time coding session with Scott. jQuery UI has different types of plugins: interaction plugins that add behaviors to elements (draggable, droppable, resizable, etc.), and widgets which are new types of elements (dialogue box, accordion, slider, etc), and finally, effects, and animations.
