Kevin Powell pitted several AI models against each other in a video focused on CSS questions<\/a> and found Claude<\/a> to be the best. I think a ton of coding usage of AI is in VS Code which leans Microsoft Copilot which uses GPT-4o<\/a> by default although you can change it in the UI<\/a>, so it might be worth giving others a shot. I like how using different models is pretty developer friendly<\/a> these days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’ve seen Gemini do pretty decently particularly when you help it along with a custom “Gem” where you can explain in more detail exactly who you are and what you’re looking for<\/a>. I know ChatGPT also has custom instructions<\/a> which will likely improve things there too, or at least good for a prank<\/a>. (Another good front-end-y custom prompt here<\/a>.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’ve seen AI do some pretty horrible summarizations of content lately, particularly Apple Intelligence trying to summarize a handful of texts on my phone, but generally<\/em> that’s a thing AI does pretty well. Since we all should know truncation is not a content strategy<\/a>, using AI to do it as part of responsive design<\/a> isn’t the worst idea, so long as you’re checking it closely.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
