But Nils Riedmann<a href=\"https:\/\/codepen.io\/nocksock\/pen\/rNEPMjJ?editors=1100\"> cooked up a clever way to do it<\/a> using <code>linear()<\/code> animation timing. I think this is cleaner than <a href=\"https:\/\/css-tricks.com\/css-keyframe-animation-delay-iterations\/\">faking it<\/a> with multiple benign keyframe steps. Remember <code>linear<\/code> is not the same as <code>linear()<\/code>.
